Interclub: 4-2 vs Waitakere

On Sunday we played Waitakere in the 2nd Round of the Auckland Interclub Championship. Due to Illness, Exams and other circumstances we had problems getting a full team but in the end we got the full 6 players.
Results were:
Nathan Goodhue vs Bob Smith – Draw
Edward Tanoi vs Leo Guico – Win
Mark Brimble vs Brett Rider – Win
Hugh McLeod vs Jim Cater – Lose
Simon Lyall vs Viv Smith – Draw
Scott Butland vs Bruce Pollard – Win
Good results for several players on short notice and/or against higher ranked opponents.
After our victory against Papatoetoe a couple of weeks ago we are now on 2 wins from 2 rounds. If you are interested in participating in the Interclub (current grade or Future B Grade competition) plus talk to Edward Tanoi.
